More thought should be given to the journey of the walks, not the destination. Where a walking track begins it's important to get it right. Sintra was good. Arrabida needs some reworking to ensure...

Hi, thank you for your feedback. Where possible we do look to walk in fabulous locations only. However logistically when coastline is involved this can become problematic. In Arribida we drive out to the Natural Park which offers some of the most stunning coastal scenery in the Lisbon area with the contrasting deep blue ocean and greens of the pine-forested hills. We take a picnic lunch overlooking the picturesque Portinho da Arrabida coastline then walk back to the hotel, which does mean going back into the town with associated traffic.

The walks were well selected, the guide was very good and knowledgeable. We would have liked a firmer bed in some of the hotels selected. The food was good.
