I have contacted the courier and although the notes on the order requested a 7.5 tonne vehicle, they are not always readily available.
Your order was manifested as a small vehicle and a 12 tonne lorry (still a standard small vehicle but the next lorry size up) was used instead in this instance.
As Palletline are contracted to do a kerbside delivery, it is likely that the lane would have been blocked for a short time even if they arrived in a 7.5 tonne vehicle.
Going forward we will change the notes to ensure they arrive in a 7.5 tonne lorry, then if this is not the case, we can be of more assistance on the day.
