Dear Janice We are disappointed to hear your trip didn't meet your expectations. Regarding accommodation, our guided tours include stays in standard accommodation, which are generally small family-run hotels. All hotels we work with are clean and comfortable and you'll always have your private room with en-suite bathroom. We visit the hotels on a regular basis to make sure they meet the standards we require. In addition to the standard option, we also have a Country Cottages and Superior Collection to those looking for a more luxurious experience; only available for self-guided tours. Also bear in mind, as a long distance trail, the route takes walkers to big and small places, where accommodation and amenities can be limited.
