Thank you for your review. We are sorry to hear about the confusion with the seating arrangements on this trip. Seats are booked in advance and passengers should really stick to siting in their assigned seats. Unfortunately, on this occasion it appears that some customers did not do so when boarding, which then caused difficulties for passengers joining later and resulted in groups being separated. We appreciate that this was frustrating and disappointing, particularly as it is not the standard experience you would normally expect on a Barnes trip. We will remind our drivers of the importance of everyone sitting in their allocated seats to help ensure journeys run smoothly for everyone. While our team and driver did their best to adapt to the circumstances on the day, we understand the inconvenience caused by the delayed arrival, the amended return time, and the need to transfer to a feeder vehicle for the final part of your journey. The decision to introduce the Amesbury feeder vehicle was made as a direct result of the unexpected road closures encountered during the day. This helped avoid an even lengthier journey for passengers, enabled everyone to get home more quickly, and ensured we remained compliant with drivers' working hours regulations.
