Our principal surveyor, Mr Philip Angell, has been a qualified surveyor since 1995 and has worked worldwide on a variety of different survey projects. Angell Surveys have operated both fixed wing and multirotor UAV’s since 2015. Our Principal Surveyor is ultimately responsible for the quality of all survey deliverables and ‘signs off’ each stage of the work with a valid RICS number. Our principal surveyor is a member of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (RICS) and the Chartered Institute of Civil Engineering Surveyors (CICES).
Angell Surveys hold extended range BVLOS (Beyond Visual Line of Sight) permissions from the UK CAA which allows them to carry out a range of technically challenging aerial surveys, such as large areas or long corridors.
As a RICS firm, all surveys are planned in accordance with RICS Measured Surveys of Land, Buildings and Utilities, 3rd edition and Environment Agency National Survey Specifications.
Quality Assurance and accuracy statements are produced in accordance with RICS accuracy bands contained within our survey procedures.
All survey data is processed ‘in house’ in the UK and is subject to robust QA processes.
All surveyors engaged by Angell Surveys are professionally qualified surveyors with a minimum of 5 years experience within discipline.
Angell Surveys provide clients with a planned project timeline for each survey so that data deliverables can be achieved and clients are able to manage the next stages of their work, which relies upon the survey data.
