We're glad you like the design of your table, and note your comments about the weight. We pride ourselves on making our furniture with the best possible materials - in this case solid European oak with German extension mechanisms. These materials are certainly sturdy rather than light! With the extensions it is a 260cm 10/12 seater solid oak table - a pretty sizeable piece!

We have emailed you separately explaining how the wheels sunken into the bottom of the legs at one end could assist in the movement of the table if it is necessary to do so with one person. However it is always best to move large items of furniture with two people.
