Wightlink-anmeldelser

Hello and thank you for taking the time to share this with us. I am glad that your experience travelling with Wightlink was a good one and you found our teams to be helpful and friendly and that you were able to sail at your preffered time. We look forward to seeing you onboard again soon.

Hello and thank you for your feedback. I am pleased to hear that you found the booking process easy to use however, I am sorry you find the fare prices too high. We use Flexi-Pricing, which means that prices for a particular crossing may increase in line with demand for that crossing. Our fares also reflect the cost of running our service (which is not subsided). The sooner you book, the more likely you are to pay a lower fare and fares will generally get higher the closer you get to the sailing date, particularly during busier times. Keep an eye on our 'offers' tab on our website for ideas on ways to save. I would also recommend to sign up for our newsletter, if you haven't already done so, to keep up to date with all of our latest offers. Thanks again and hope to see you onboard soon.

Hello Haydn, We understand that punctuality is important to our customers and are very sorry for the disruption to your sailing and for the impact this had on your travel plans. Please do call our contact centre for advise if you do have difficulty amending your booking in the future. Although, we do have to limit spaces in order to offer the significant reduction in price that our Multilink Vehicle passes offer. I am sorry once again but appreciate your feedback as we are always looking for ways we can improve. I hope we can provide a more enjoyable experience the next time you travel with us

Hello, Thank you for your review. I am glad that your experience travelling with Wightlink was a good one and you found our teams to be helpful and friendly. Unfortunately, it is not possible to provide good connections with all rail services, as there are trains operating from Ryde Pier as well as Portsmouth, with arrival times and departure times on both sides important for travel connections. With this in mind we do not advertise any of our services as travel connections because of the difficulties involved. We look forward to seeing you onboard again soon.

Good afternoon, I am glad to hear that you enjoyed the service when onboard however, I am sorry you found the communication to be poor with delays and cancellations. We always do our best to keep customers informed of any delays or cancellations to the best of our ability however, your feedback has been noted as we look for ways we can improve our service. Thank you for taking the time to share your review.

Hello Stephen, We understand that punctuality is important to our customers. We are very sorry for the disruption to your sailing and for the impact this had on your travel plans. I appreciate cancelling any sailing, especially the 23:59 is far from ideal however, the safety of our customers and crew is always our highest priority. Thank you for sharing your review as we are always looking for ways we can improve. I do hope if you choose to travel with us again, we can provide a more enjoyable experience.

Hello and thank you for your review. I am pleased to hear that you enjoyed your experience when travelling with Wightlink and that you found our service to be efficient and well organised. We hope to see you onboard again soon.

Hello John, We understand that punctuality is important to our customers. We are very sorry for the disruption to your sailing and for the impact this had on your travel plans, especially while travelling with a young baby. All doors on the car deck will remain closed until the announcement has been made to get ready for disembarkation. My sincerest apologies if there was an issue onboard that day. Regular inspections are made to ensure the doors are in working order but we would advise to bring any issues to the attention of the crew onboard. We do also have lifts on all our car ferries. I am sorry once again but I do appreciate you sharing your review as we are always looking for ways we can improve. I do hope if you choose to travel with us again, we can provide a more enjoyable experience.

Hello Julie, I do apologise you feel this way. The reason for the delays when you travelled is due to a mechanical issue on St Clare which our teams worked very hard to resolve. This information was sent out in both a text message and email and on looking at your booking, can see these were both received. However, your feedback has been noted that you do not feel like it was a valid reason and moving forward, hopefully we can learn from this and improve our service.
