When first contacted, was told I had to speak directly to underwriter, LV. Which seemed to make paying the extra to Volvo a waste of time.

Someone didn't listen to what i said properly ???
i gave 4 stars but nearly only gave 3 stars as there were a few problems with YOUR communications after being told i was overseas in canada for 3 weeks and my car would be at my local volvo dealer...

Excess repaid promptly, process of claiming convoluted, repair work slow.
Process for claiming excess return was a little convoluted but cash payment was made swiftly.

Confusing arrangement
Insurance position confusing with multiple parties involved: insurer, broker, underwriter, repair shop. I was never sure who was doing what and would have loved for the broker to provide a one stop...
