Thank you so much for getting in touch with us and letting us know your thoughts.In regards to your flights, the reason why other passengers on your tour may have received their flights as “standard” was because it was included in the cost of their package. Your tour package did not include premium flights, so you were charged an additional $400 to upgrade. Other passengers did not have to pay an additional amount as they selected a tour package that already included the flights. Therefore, everyone on tour who was booked on a premium airline would have paid the same amount. We apologise for the misunderstanding here which led to you believing you had been unfairly charged. In regards to early check in, please be advised that most check in times in Japan and South Korea are generally from around 3pm onwards. We are sorry to hear that you were so tired after your flights, but please understand that we have no control over the check-in time regulations of our hotel partners. We always advise guests who arrive early that they can drop their bags at the hotel and enjoy their time before check in exploring the city. It is standard procedure for a hotel to charge a fee for guests who wish to check in early, and we are sorry that you were not made aware of this fact.We are happy that you enjoyed the services provided by your bus driver while on tour, but are sorry to hear that this error from your tour guide lowered your opinion of her overall performance. It should be noted that while it is possible to purchase Studio Ghibli tickets while in Japan, the Studio Ghibli website does recommend that guests book in advance as early as possible (up to 3 months), as tickets are strictly limited.
