We are very sorry to learn that the holiday was not as enjoyable as you had anticipated. It is of particular concern to hear that our tour leader did not organise the local arrangements well, and you were given too much free time. Our leader has led the holiday on previous occasions and was involved in the original planning of the programme. Although the arrangements, and route, have been adjusted over the years, we did not anticipate that he would have any problems in organising a good programme. We are therefore sorry to hear that the leader did not demonstrate good knowledge and experience of many of the places visited and did not meet your expectations. We are always happy to provide information and advice before you book a holiday with us. There are many staff at our office who have experienced our holidays and are able to give first hand advice on the programme and what to expect. In addition, our Leaders Department are happy to provide information relating to our leaders, including their experience, knowledge of any particular destination and language skills. When we receive feedback such as yours regarding our tour leaders and the sort of impact their approach has on the enjoyment of the holiday, we do discuss any complaints with them and take our leaders' style and approach into consideration before appointing them to future holidays.
