Thank you for your review, and we're really sorry to hear of your concerns. Our oak shelves are crafted from air-dried oak, which naturally features splits and cracks as part of its rustic character — this is detailed on our website and in our product descriptions. However, we understand your concern about safety, especially with a toddler around. If you believe the shelf has become structurally unsound or the movement has worsened since installation, please email us at info@funky-chunky-furniture.co.uk with up-to-date photos. We’ll be happy to assess it and advise on next steps. Kind regards, Funky Chunky Furniture Team
