We appreciate the time you have taken to leave your feedback. We recommend our customers contact us when they receive their renewal each year to discuss same. Renewal notices are automatically generated and cannot be amended unless we speak to the customer to discuss the level of cover you prefer.

Across the Irish Insurance Industry, premiums have risen due to a number of factors. A sustained increase in the number of personal injury claims, higher court awards, and the collapse of Setanta Insurance, have all contributed to this.

At AXA we are dedicated to keeping our expenses down, using cost effective vehicle repairers and fighting fraud. However, personal injury claims are very high, and despite our on-going efforts to minimise cost, all premiums have gone up this year.

We really appreciate your custom and would like to take this opportunity to thank you for your loyalty and hopefully we will be more competitive next year.

We sincerely apologise in the delay of getting back to you regarding your issue.

I understand that you have spoken to my colleague Donna on the 22nd February. I can also see that she had issued a new certificate and disc.

Unfortunately, there has been an increase in premiums across the insurance industry due to a number of reasons, including rising claims costs and high court awards.  The majority of customers across all companies are seeing price increases as a result.  At AXA we try our best to minimise these increases, while still offering a great product to suit our customer’s needs.
