It is so disappointing to learn the hotel did not meet your expectations. All of the hotels we feature are graded under the Italian star rating system and this hotel is only available to book on a half board basis, so I am so sorry you found the food was not of the standard you had expected. I have asked our Resort Manager to enquire whether there is a new chef or a change of management, as previous feedback has been positive and we will continue to monitor any other comments we receive.

I am pleased you enjoyed your stay at Villa Barranch. The electricity infrastructure in Sardinia is not as robust as that in the UK and often if several appliances are being used at once, this can trip the supply. It is likely the air conditioning being used more frequently due to the extreme heat, may have put additional strain on the supply for the villa and I am sorry for any inconvenience.
Please also accept my apologies for the wait you experienced when collecting your car from Hertz at Olbia. We are aware of the matter and we have been working with them to try and ensure this is not repeated.

I am sorry you were disappointed with the overall standard of the villa.
It is part of our "simple" collection of properties, which we describe as being furnished with the emphasis on holiday living. The kitchen facilities are usually basic but generally the outside facilities are the main attraction. Having said this, all properties should be clean on arrival and I apologise you found some dirty crockery and cutlery.
Karen, our rep has worked for us for several years so it is disappointing you felt she seemed disinterested. I am certain this was not her intention but I will let her know of your observations.
