Hi, We have tried to contact you regarding the issues raised in your feedback and we would really value the opportunity to discuss these with you. You’re right to point out that every job is different and requires varying levels of detail. Our hirers offer a variety of temporary or one-off roles to allow people to have the choice of the type of role they wish to complete. We do expect wigwammers to check that they are able to fulfil the brief provided before booking onto a job. Our policy of putting a wigwammer ‘on hold’ is to ensure that any issues between a worker and a hirer can be resolved quickly and sensitively. Tax codes are received directly from HMRC and unfortunately this is something we do not have any influence over. Our advice would always be to contact HMRC to resolve any issues re tax codes etc. We recognise that the facial recognition process isn’t always ideal but we have a legal requirement to prove every wigwammers right to work in the UK.
