It is great news that you are seeing such a noticeable reduction in the moths you are catching, the adult young males are being attracted to the powerful pheromones on the sticky strip and this will help break the breeding cycle. We would suggest keeping the traps in place (they are active for 12 weeks after opening) so that you can further monitor for any moth presence but all indications are good! Best wishes Amanda

We are sorry to read that you are having trouble catching this particular moth but, from your description in your review, it sounds like this is not a textile moth and therefore will not be attracted to our Clothes Moth Traps. Textile Moths are roughly 1-1.5 cm in length and the adult males are attracted to the powerful pheromones on our sticky traps. These will be the 'tiny ones' you have referred to, which are being caught successfully. Best wishes Amanda

Thank you for your feedback on our Pantry Moth Traps and we are so sorry to read that you are having a lot of moths. When you peel back the adhesive strip in order to stick the trap to a surface, make sure that you have not peeled back the paper cover for the trap itself first, that way you can press the trap to any surface without getting your hands sticky. Thank you for your 5 stars and informative feedback on our Pantry Moth Traps. As you have mentioned, it is a good idea to keep strips in place as it will take time to reduce the moth population if there are moth larvae present that pupate into a new cycle of adult moths. This can be a process that extends over several months. The traps last for 8 weeks after activation so that gives you a good length of time to monitor the situation.
