Our sales staff are required to forward any offers and provide professional advice throughout the entire transaction - especially regarding property values when offers are initially discussed. As previously advised, there was no obligation at all for you to accept the offer so I am somewhat surprised at your comments. I also understand that my colleagues reduced their commission significantly as a gesture of goodwill.

If you ask for feedback you should not be surprised by the comments you get! As time moves on and beyond the three months and there is some interest in a poor market then the decision to accept a lower offer or simply remove the property from the market becomes more complex. There is never any obligation to accept an offer. It depends on your view of the market. I thanked Marcus on the phone personally for having completed the transaction. The question I was asked was about how happy I was and I explained why I was disappointed.
