We’re, however, very sorry to hear that certain aspects of your accommodation experience did not meet expectations. Please accept our sincerest apologies for the issues encountered at Château de la Bourdaisière. The unhelpful and dismissive attitude shown by reception and kitchen staff, particularly around breakfast service, is most disappointing. We understand how upsetting and uncomfortable that must have felt, especially in front of your daughter, and we’re grateful you brought it to our attention. Your comments have been shared directly with our local Operations Team to ensure appropriate follow-up with the property.
We also regret the challenges you faced at the Marriott Rive Gauche in Paris. The difficulties with your room allocation, the lack of functioning air conditioning, and the poor response from hotel staff certainly fall short of the service standards we expect from our partners. We do understand how frustrating this must have been, particularly in the summer heat, and we apologise for the inconvenience this caused during your stay.
Your suggestions about preparing for summer travel, including bringing a handheld fan, are greatly appreciated and will be useful to future guests. We also take note of your helpful feedback about the balance of free time and optional excursions, as well as your thoughtful comments on the timing of certain visits, such as Mont St Michel.
