I would have expected at least 75% of the published itinerary to have been made available, this was not the case.

Thank you for taking the time and trouble to post your review. As you know your tour to the Isle of Man coincided with massive rainfall resulting in very severe flooding throughout the north of England. Because of that weather some of the closures that you experienced on tour could not have been foreseen. The post-tour report from your guide stated as follows: 'The Manx Electric Railway Laxey-Ramsey tram track was closed due to flooding but I managed to have it rearranged to later n the tour. Laxey Wheel was under water but they did open the immediate area including the Wheel.' You say 'Planned repairs to an attraction should have been known about before departure' and indeed they were. Our Client Information pack sent to you before departure stated as follows: 'In conjunction with your Group Organiser the Douglas Horse Tram, originally planned for day 5, has been removed from the Itinerary as the track is undergoing a rejuvenation scheme and the majority of the track is currently unavailable to visitors. The optional cruise has also been removed from day 5 as the M.V Karina is no longer operating. Instead you will spend your morning at the Manx Museum and afternoon at leisure in Douglas.' These could not have been known at the time that the tour was originally agreed with your Group Organiser and advertised to the group - 1 year prior to the tour's departure. In the circumstances, I would hope that you might reflect that we and our guide did the very best we could in difficult conditions and that the ratings you gave our service and the tour were maybe too harsh.
