Good Morning, Thank you for your feedback. As ever we are always concerned to hear that clients may be without the cover they believe was included on the policy. We have therefore investigated the issue thoroughly this morning and we have established that demonstration cover was not included on your policy last year and that our Sales Agent did confirm this at inception of the policy. In your New Business Pack the statement of fact confirmed that the price paid did not include this cover. Errors and misunderstandings are always a possibility so we have also checked the recorded call and our Sales Agent when confirming all the covers has said demonstration cover is not included. We understand that when taking out a motor trade policy you would have discussed your requirements and your business with various brokers, it may be that other prices you had did include it but unfortunately it was not requested with us. Good Afternoon, Thank you for your feedback. I understand your concern with regards to returning the required documents to us. The text message you received is automated by our system to act as further confirmation that the policy has been processed, we also use this to act as a reminder to the client to start organising their documents and it cannot be amended by your sales agent. There are various different documents the insurance company require so we like to get the ball rolling. Our administration team will make contact after 7 days to check you have your new business pack and remind you of the documents we require. This is why we mention it in your first text message but receipt of these is not critical within the first 7 days of cover. Your sales agent will take into account the inception date and any circumstances discussed by setting the first call to be made at least 7 days from inception.
