This varies from site to site which is why a child ages are required when running a search. Pitchup.com has recently launched an automatic payment option which we are actively encouraging our sites to adopt to make the payment process for both listings and customers easier. This type of payment is indicated on the campsite/park profile with a black 'Payup' tag. However, we also aim to cater for those customers who prefer to pay closer to their arrival date or upon arrival at the site itself. Campsites and parks set their own pricing on Pitchup.com and the deposit is not a booking fee, but part payment on your holiday and should be borne by the site.
