Having looked at your order, I understand that the fire you shipped contained glass and was therefore unfortunately shipped at your own risk. I believe the additional Loss/Damage Cover you purchased on the website was refunded to you before the collection of your item and that you were advised of the risk in sending the fire through a parcel network. Once again, please accept our apologies for the damage to your shipment. Thank you very much for your feedback. Unfortunately most parcel carriers specify that collections and deliveries can take place between 9am and 6pm Monday to Friday. They themselves are unable to be more specific as this will vary day to day according to the demand for their services, traffic, weather etc. We are also therefore unable to be more specific with times. Perhaps for your future shipments you could leave your parcel with a neighbour for collection or could have the parcel collected at your workplace? Many thanks for your custom and for your feedback.

Very helpful in trying to sort out a collection issue.
