The Traps attract the sexually active adult male moths so If you have recently set the Traps up it may take a little time for the catchment rate to improve. We advise keeping them in place as they are active for 12 weeks after opening. The traps will help break the breeding cycle and give you an indication of the size of your moth problem. Sometimes there can be a slow start to catching moths, depending on where they are in their life cycle, or it could be that some of the moths currently present in the home are females (only active adult males will be caught). We suggest keeping the traps in place as they are active for 12 weeks after opening. This will help break the breeding cycle and also give you an opportunity to gauge the size of your moth problem. Please let us reassure you that even though our products are ‘professional grade’ they are still certified safe for use by DIY’ers. Moreover, we supply User Guides with our Kits! As long as you follow our straightforward guidance you should be able to quickly treat your moth problem and have your Moth Traps in place for ongoing protection and monitoring. If you now feel that carrying out your own treatment is not for you that’s not a problem. Please return your unused products to us and we will be very happy to refund. If you have a well established moth infestation we would strongly recommend that repeat treatments be carried out in the room where moths were present. Repeating a fumigation after 7 days will have a significant impact on any eggs that were not killed with the initial application of moth fumers.
