Thank you for your 4 star feedback on our Clothes and Carpet Moth Traps. It is great news to read that you are not finding any more moths on the Traps. We suggest keeping the Traps in place as they are active for 12 weeks after opening. This will enable you to monitor for any further moth presence and the Traps will continue to help break the breeding cycle if there are any more adult male moths out there! Best wishes Amanda

The fumers are a knock down product so once you have used them and aired the infested areas we do advise following up with the Residual Spray and the Traps in order to give ongoing protection. Our Traps catch the following types of Moth: •Webbing Clothes Moth, otherwise know as the Common Clothes Moth (Tineola bisselliella) •Case Bearing Moth, otherwise know as the Case Making Moth (Tinea pellionella) •White Shouldered House Moth (Endrosis sarcitrella) •Brown House Moth (Hofmannophila pseudospretella) If you are not seeing any moths on the Traps it could be for the following reasons. 1) The moth you are targeting is not one of the moths mentioned above. You may like to view our guide on Identifying Clothes and Carpet Moths. 2) As it is still early in the moth season it could be that the moths present are females or juveniles. The traps attract the sexually active adult male moths and can be kept in place for 12 weeks after opening. 3) If you have any other moth deterrents placed nearby they can distract from the Traps. With regard to your comments about Moth Traps, if this refers to our Moth Traps they attract the following types of moth; •Webbing Clothes Moth, otherwise know as the Common Clothes Moth (Tineola bisselliella) •Case Bearing Moth, otherwise know as the Case Making Moth (Tinea pellionella) •White Shouldered House Moth (Endrosis sarcitrella) •Brown House Moth (Hofmannophila pseudospretella) The traps attract the active adult male moths and can be kept in place for 12 weeks after opening. If you are still seeing moths flying around it could be for the following reasons. 1) The moths you are seeing are females. 2) It might be due to the stage of the moth life cycle where some larvae are still pupating. If the conditions are warm indoors (which is often the case in winter when the heating is on) this can affect the cycle. 3) It could be that you have a larger moth infestation than anticipated and a Moth Killer Kit may be needed to eliminate the moths, eggs and larvae. 4) If you have any other moth deterrents placed nearby they can distract from the Traps. Eliminating Food Moths can take some time and requires thorough cleaning of the kitchen areas, regular checking of your pantry goods and monitoring for any further evidence of moths or larvae. There could be a number of reasons why you are still seeing moths in your home. 1) It could be due to the current stage in the Moth Life Cycle. Temperatures in the UK have been warmer for longer this year and this can prolong their breeding and pupating. 2) Our Traps only attract the active adult male moths and the moths you are seeing may be the females. 3) Our Traps attract the following types of Food Moth. Indian Meal Moth Mediterranean Food Moth Brown House Moth White Shouldered House Moth It could be that the Moths in your home are not one of the species that our Traps target.
