We do take them seriously and want to offer a great service so as yours wasn’t 4 stars or above we wanted to look into it to see if we fell short in any way or if there was anything more we could have done. Having done that it does sound like a frustrating deal with unusual circumstances.
Our vendor was in a remote part of Finland with intermittent internet service, their chosen solicitor was based in Wales and would not email anything instead insisting on posting all documents. On the other side your solicitor would only use email and not the phone. Put all of this together and we know it is bound to cause some frustration.
However, we do honestly believe everything was done by our staff to progress the sale to completion as quickly as was possible (why would we not) and to try and help save time at the other end for you, access was organised for your trades and kitchen fitters so a scope of works could be prepared pre exchange of contracts.
So, in summary the situation wasn’t straightforward or perfect but we do thank you for your honesty as to how it was perceived by you.
