Claim good, but airline paid direct to me ,so I then had to pay their share .Perhaps could have done it all myself and saved £189 .

Thank you Peter, we do appreciate your comments as it provides us with valuable customer feedback. Ryanair are one of the airlines that insist that the passengers are paid directly. We can never be sure of the outcome at the onset of the claim but on this occasion the airline decided not to fight it and pay compensation immediately. Unfortunately the majority of Ryanair claims are not so simple and generally involve litigation. We are pleased the outcome was a good one and you received your compensation.

Took weeks and weeks to get payment. Smaller amount than expected. I asked for a breakdown of how the compensation was split but never received a reply.
