Thank you for your feedback although we were concerned to read your comments. Our brochure is correct as the hotel's main restaurant is the Pavilion. Historically they featured the Victor Hugo Restaurant for dinner but this restaurant is now used for breakfast only and this is where the confusion has probably arisen. With regard to your other feedback, we have been in contact with the management of the hotel and they replied as below."Our main hotel restaurant is the Pavilion Restaurant, the restaurant the guests are probably referring to is the Victor Hugo Restaurant which we use for breakfast, we last used this for dinner over 2 years ago. I have spoken with the Assistant Restaurant Manager and Head Chef regarding a wait on the guests food and the guests did have a longer than normal wait for their desserts due to the volume of restaurant guests, it’s no excuse however we did double the normal covers on that night which is unusual for a Thursday. Our Duty Manager did speak to the Berry’s to apologise for the delay and offered to take their desserts to the room himself however they declined, he also offered them a complimentary drink but they didn’t want it. After their dinner the Berry’s called reception to say there was a problem with the toilet, our Duty Manager went up and saw that the tank needed a new water pump system. Our Duty Manager stopped the water from running and offered the Berry’s a different room but they declined. We had a charity event on the guests first night which was until 12am however the Berry’s bedroom was away from the function room. Any guests that stayed past 12am would have been hotel residents only as the event did finish at midnight. We did have a private event in the Pavilion Restaurant on the Monday night and the Terrace Lounge was the main restaurant on that night. The event finished at 10pm as I worked that event myself. Again the guests were all residents so as with above any hotel residents can drink later in the bar. I hope that explains the feedback given and many thanks for passing it onto us."We are sorry to hear you didn't have the best experience at the St Pierre Park. To be fair, we usually get good feedback from guests staying at this hotel but there was clearly a few issues during your stay. Thank you for commenting on the excellent meals you enjoyed at Le Friquet which is another hotel we feature.
