Rubbish delivery

Rubbish I asked for a delayed delivery on my son's birthdsy 15th April . It did not arrive and after we chased it it still did not arrive untyil 20th April.

Hi Elaine Apologies again that there was a problem with the delivery of your gift. Unfortunately there were no scans on it since it left our warehouse on the 13th April and we weren't aware that there were any issues until you contacted us to say it hadn't arrived so we chased it up with DHL and refunded your delivery and delay charges back to your payment method in way of compensation. We are currently looking at swapping our couriers to hopefully alleviate these problems. Sorry again that it missed your son's birthday but I do hope he enjoyed the selection. Cheryl

Thank you for your reply, I think it would be a good idea for you to change your courier. I did appreciate that the delivery charges were refunded to me but that was not really compensation for my son not receiving his gift until 5 days after his birthday. However he did say that the beer was good. Maybe it would be a good idea to use local couriers for areas where delivery is a little off the beaten track.

We appreciate your comments regarding local couriers but unfortunately as we deliver parcels throughout mainland UK we do need to use a large delivery company which is happy to transport bottles and alcohol.
