You just need to hold the up and down arrows down for about a second and then you can turn the light on or off. If you would like to discuss this further please give me a call. We are in the process of changing freight companies so hopefully this problem will be rectified in the future. As for the plug. I think your right it has somehow dislodged and ended up under the fridge. Thank you so much for getting your husband to fix it.
