Thank you for your feedback regarding your garment which has pilled. We are extremely sorry to hear about your dissatisfaction with the pilling of this garment. We have supplied woollens for some 25 years and pilling is a process we are keen to minimise. You have our assurance that the pills that appear are not a permanent feature on your garment. This is a temporary process that will occur with particularly soft lofty yarns. The pills can be easily removed with either a pilling comb or safety razor, or they will just fall away naturally during washing and wearing. I do understand that during the initial wearing it can make new jumper look scruffy but it is no different to the way a new carpet will release some fibres when it is new. The more frequently you wash the garment the quicker they will disappear. If you follow the above recommendations it is unlikely that you should have further trouble in regards to the pilling especially after the garment has been washed a few times.
