With regard to the credit card fee, we think you’ll find that the 4% we charge for credit card use is fairly standard amongst villa operators in Sicily and we do ensure that these charges are clear in our terms and conditions. For those who prefer not to book by credit card, there is the option of a bank transfer or cash payment at the villa. As you know now, as we act on behalf of property owners and agents throughout Sicily and so the balance of payment on our Partnership listings goes directly to them - but we appreciate that this may have been slightly puzzling, particularly as the email was from a German address.
