At the time you contacted our company our fee was explained on our initial call before you agreed to receive our application pack, but it was also confirmed in writing on the documentation you were sent. You then returned your application pack with the documentation signed and dated to say that you had read and agreed our terms and conditions. We have checked your file and the % fee you initially signed for was the fee you were charged for the duration of your claim. There was no increase in the % you signed for and the % you were charged. The reason our website now shows a revised fee is that on 10/7/18 a fee cap was introduced. The legislative bill stated there was to be “An interim 20 percent fee cap (exclusive of VAT) on any PPI claims.” Therefore our terms and conditions state our fee is now 24% including VAT at current rates.
