Just to check, did the recipient receive the tree care card that is attached to the tree? The gift message is inside this card, so it would be lovely to confirm whether this may have been overlooked. In terms of the compost, our trees are carefully prepared before dispatch, but they can occasionally feel dry on arrival as they are securely packaged for their journey. A gentle watering on arrival is usually all that is needed to help them settle in, and I am glad your recipient was able to care for it. Regarding the size, our measurements always include the pot, and this particular tree is supplied at 50 plus centimetres as stated. We do understand that expectations can differ, and we are sorry if it appeared smaller than anticipated. Each tree is sent with the intention of creating a lasting and meaningful gift, something that can grow and be cherished over time. 🌿
