Good service on cancellation

I had to cancel my policy a couple of days after I bought it. The company were understanding and gave me a refund minus a small fee which I thought was perfectly fair.

Hi Paul, Thank you for your feedback, I'm sorry to hear that you're unhappy. You are our customer, and we have no dealing with the rental company at all. Therefore, they do not need to accept our policy. You are liable to pay them the excess, and we would refund this directly back to you. Typically, the rental company may tell you they do not accept our policy as they would like you to take out their excess waiver instead. In this situation, you would just need to tell the rental company that you are happy being liable for the excess and they cannot disagree with this. Kind regards, Charli

Disappointed- not allowed to extend policy due to administrative processes

Initial process good but very disappointing that the system makes you buy another single trip policy if you have to extend your hire car period- instead of allowing you to extend the first one...

Hi there, Thank you for your feedback. We can extend your policy, our automated message recommends that you buy an additional policy if you need the cover urgently to ensure you have continuous cover if we cannot reply in time. This is in place to simply protect our customers and to make sure they have cover when they need it (if the extension is last minute). The message confirms that if it is not urgent, then you can reply back and an agent will deal with your request as soon as possible. Kind regards, Charli
