We are saddened to hear that you think we are a little pricey. Online retailers often sell at or below cost, making it hard for independent businesses to compete. Some physical stores match these prices, but we can't do so and still support our team. Many online sellers are backed by international investors and use aggressive pricing to dominate the market. Our margins are in line with other retailers, but we choose to invest in staff training to offer expert advice and service. Over 60% of our products are made in the UK, and 81% are sourced from UK-based businesses. We also pay all our taxes here, supporting the local economy.
