It is not that a product will necessarily become unsafe after the three-month period, but we cannot guarantee its potency after this time. So, you may find that the product is less effective after three months as the longer it is used, the more the bottle is opened on a daily basis it may lead to exposing the product to a source of contamination (such as moisture ) or Oxygen and this may affect the efficacy of the product. Most people take B vitamins at dosages far in excess of the NRV. This is because B vitamins are generally considered to have a fairly low absorption proportional to their consumption, meaning that you only benefit from a small percentage of what is actually consumed. As you can imagine, everybody has very different requirements for supplementation. For example, somebody who weighs 65kgs and has a plant based diet will most likely have a very different requirement for supplementary B12 to someone who weighs 90kgs but eats a lot of red meat. We always recommend that people take supplements following professional consultation to ensure they are getting what they need and we state on the product page and the bottle itself that dosage can be changed as directed by your healthcare practitioner.

Many healthcare practitioners prefer to begin with lower dosages so they can appropriately tailor supplementation based on individual factors such as age, sex, body weight, diet, lifestyle, and specific clinical needs. This approach allows for greater flexibility and precision when adjusting intake, rather than defaulting to higher-dose supplementation. At present, we produce this product in its current strength and bottle size primarily in response to customer demand. As mentioned previously, many customers purchase this product following practitioner recommendations that exceed the label dose, which is why the current format has remained commercially viable. That said, we fully acknowledge that this does not suit all use cases, particularly those involving lower-dose, longer-term protocols where minimising waste is an important consideration. Your feedback regarding bottle size, sustainability, and accessibility is both valid and appreciated. While there has not yet been sufficient demand to justify a smaller bottle size, this is exactly the type of constructive insight we take forward when reviewing product formulations. We will raise this specifically at our next management meeting for discussion. Regarding Amazon US availability, we understand how frustrating this can be. We do ship stock to the US on a monthly basis; however, once shipments clear customs, timelines are unfortunately outside of our control and depend entirely on Amazon’s internal receiving and processing systems.
