Dear Miina, During my recruitment process I was diagnosed with cancer, which is something the recruiter didn't like to hear. Of course, I wanted to keep this for myself and I just politely told him that I needed to receive treatment and didn't know when I would be able to work. I need to focus on my health right now. I do not think that I should be giving many explanations and this is something I do not like at all. However, having into account that the recruiter kept pushing about he could make the company wait for 3 months and that the company completely caught what I meant when I called them to say that I could not continue with the process... Please understand that when somebody says that for health issues I cannot continue, the recruiter should stop. And surprise, I got a phone call today (after having to block him by email, phone and WhatsApp) asking again. Please understand that enough is enough. I understand that you work with metrics, bonuses, etc etc but a bit of humanity would be quite welcome. I am sorry that he didn't get his bonus, but again, please stop this and I really hope that he doesn't call me again. I already told him that if I recover and need to look for a job, I would contact him. Notwithstanding, after this experience, I do not think that I'll contact meet in the future. Please, I beg you that the phone calls or messages stop. Thank you in advance for your understanding and humanity. Best wishes
