Thank you for your feedback. Clearly the box in which we despatched your plants must have been handled 'roughly' by our carriers Parcel Force. Although we have no financial redress against Parcel Force we do provide them with feedback on any issues that arise, as part of us working in partnership to maintain the service standards we have agreed with them. Should any of the plants not prosper as a result of them being damaged in transit, we will either issue an appropriate refund to you or replace the plants free of charge. Having reviewed our records I have copied below an e-mail that was sent to you by our Managing Director on the 25th April, following earlier correspondence, since which time we have not heard further from you. ___________________________________________________________________ Thank you for your e-mail of the 23rd April. I have now had the opportunity of inspecting the stock from which your plants were selected and have reviewed our earlier response to your complaint. In addition I have consulted with my colleagues and also several experts from within the industry who all concur with our conclusion regarding the health of the Photinia plants we’ve supplied and the course of action we’ve recommended you take. However despite our complete confidence in the quality of the Photinia plants we supplied if you wish us to issue a refund for the cost of the plants we will do so once you’ve returned these to us. Alternatively if you decide to keep the plants, perhaps re-planting these in a different part of your garden we will refund an amount of £75 as a gesture of goodwill. I await your further advices once you’ve had the opportunity of considering the course of action you wish to take. ___________________________________________________________________ Accordingly I have now arranged to refund £75 to the card you used when placing your order although this may take a couple of working days to show as a credit on your statement.
