As a leading retailer of plants both our on-line and telephone order processes have been proven to work efficiently across many thousands of transactions. However we always strive to improve them and would welcome any further detailed observations that may help us. With regards to the despatch of your then I detail below the response a colleague sent to you on the 3rd May in response to an e-mail you sent us of the same date: ---------------------------------------------------------------- Thank you for your email and I am very sorry to hear about the condition your plants were in when they were delivered. It is our practice to use an insert inside the box to keep the plants uprights during transport but obviously on this occasion our despatch team have not done this. We do not expect Parcel Force to deliver the plants in such a terrible manner and we do print 'Live plants this way up' on the boxes but this has been ignored on this occasion and I will take this issue up with our Parcel Force account manager. I have made a note as to what has happened against your order so if any of the plants do not recover from their ordeal I will of course replace them for you. Also if you require any further plants in the future please do come back and ask to speak to myself and I will be more than happy to give a substantial discount. Once again please do accept my apologies for the way in which your order was delivered and if there is anything else I can help with please don't hesitate to contact me. ---------------------------------------------------------------- You most certainly should have received an automated e-mail from Parcel Force at the time we despatched your order and I will enquire with them why this did not reach you.
