The rear drum just skids on the grass and the front roller flattens the grass so the cutters can't do their job properly!

We are so sorry that you are unhappy with your push mower.
We do know that you have to set them up carefully, following the instructions, in the first instance so that they work and cut well. If the rear roller is failing to turn this may be because the delivery plate is resting against the cylinder and needs adjusting or the chain needs tensioning.
