Thank you for your feedback. Insects are plentiful and easy to breed by comparison to traditional livestock - but only now is this message being heard in the Western world where farming methods have all been geared towards the latter. Our insects are imported from a variety of locations, inspected on arrival, lab tested to comply with environmental health stipulations and taxed in one form or another at just about every step along the way. Those of us within the industry remain passionate and committed to spreading awareness of entomophagy and its many benefits despite a distinct lack of financial reward. We look forward to a future in which the breeding and consumption of insects in this country is common place - and less expensive than traditional meats.
In the meantime, we make every effort to ensure transparency on-line as regards to the weights/sizes/quantities and costs of all our products in order that customers are in a position to make informed decisions, and to avoid any confusion and/or disappointment.
