Wendy, Good to speak wih you a few moments ago and sorry we kept missing each other last week. Sorry for the problems you had on delivery. Your comments have been passed to Palletways, our 3rd party carrier and we have taken on board your comment about the option to have an am or pm delivery option. With regards the logs, apologies for the problem here of the smaller pieces. We have sourced the problem to the wood coming from the smaller machines which were destined for small bag hand packing rather than mechanical bulk bag filling. All logs for bulk bags are pre-sorted from the larger machine, but obvioulsy in this case there was a mix up. So, following your feedback we have agreed the installation of a new cleaning system to remove pieces that are smaller than the 2" min diam. We are confident that this will resolve the issue and I am glad that we have been able to sort out your concerns and look forward to receiving your next order. John - thanks for feedback. I agree with your comments about the bag. It could be re-used for garden waste or can be re-cycled. We are looking at ways to get the bags returned via Royal Mail, but it looks at the moment as though this cost is prohibitive Nic MD

As mentioned we are reviewing our cleaning system and will shortly be installing a new system to ensure the smaller logs are excluded from the bulk bags.
