Thank you for your feedback. Have you tried pulling the straps at the top as tight as they can go? As long as the straps are tight and the net is taut, it should not slip off the pole caps. As you have mentioned, TP stopped making these spares so we have made them to their specifications. With regards the velcro straps, we found that more often than not, they were doing more harm than good, so we have manufactured these replacement nets so that they do not need the extra support around the poles.
