Bought the excess car insurance policy, for hoilday car hire. Less than £20 much better than the €143 they wanted us to pay on pick up. Didn't have to claim thankfully, so can't comment on that side...

Insurance a must!
Easy to set up, good to have the reassurance of cover in case of unforeseen charges from accidental damage. Very affordable. Recommended.
