Photinia Red Robin has stunning red foliage which looks stunning against the deep green of the older foliage. They also produce clusters of delicate white flowers in spring. Blackthorn is a native, deciduous species, so your plant will lose its leaves during winter, but will now have burst back into leaf and will have flowered and will eventually produce berries. Your plants are evergreen and they will produce star-shaped white flowers in spring⭐🌼. If you cut the stems back by about 20/30cm after they have finished flowering, they will flower again in late summer/autumn.
