Thank you very much for the feedback about the wooden post box. I have spoken to the manufacturer about this and whilst the hole for the latch could be a little tighter, they have to allow for the wood swelling in humid weather (much like any wooden door does) and thus have erred on the side of caution. I'm sure you'd agree it's better to have this than a lock that won't close! Please let me know by emailing customer services direct if you would like to exchange the product or alternatively could I suggest you insert a thin sliver of wood or similar into the hole to close it up a bit and lessen the rattle? We're really sorry to hear about this. Thank you for your comment, although the first we heard of this damage was this morning when you sent an email to customer service and kindly attached a photo. Naturally when an item is being sent from the UK to Australia we take extra packaging precautions, so that it is distressing when an item arrives damaged. It appears here that the clock hands have vibrated loose during shipment, which is obviously difficult to mitigate against. Naturally we'll be sending out a replacement part for your clock and will also be making direct contact. I will look into the shipment time however it left us on 9th September, the same day as your order and assuming this arrived yesterday is within the 7/10 days we quote, especially as it's travelled halfway round the world. Many thanks for taking the time to give us your feedback and are glad that you like your kneeler. Our post and packing charges reflect the wide range of products we sell and (for UK delivery at least) are fixed, irrespective of the number or weight of items purchased. Some of our products are small but heavy and others large but light (and hence are difficult to post by RM) so we have to charge an overall price which covers our costs. Some retailers hide these costs within their retail price, which we have opted not to do. Last year we made a small loss on our deliveries overall. We are always reviewing our delivery charges and please be assured that will always be striving to keep them as low as possible. This will be the third year they have remained at this level, despite annual rises from our suppliers. Thank you again for the opportunity to comment. Stuart
