Stephane, by design, we maintain our Organic Maine Certified Seed Potatoes in a dormant condition to maximize vigor. The result is productive plants which provide the best performance and yields. As described in the 'Organic Potato Growing Guide' sent with your order, warming the seed tubers up to 70-75oF for a few days will get them to break dormancy and get them ready for planting. Every seed tuber we send is capable of growing a strong plant and delivering a healthy and big potato crop. I'm certain the seed we grew and sent will do well for you. However, as has been our practice for 35 years, we do guarantee your satisfaction. Tim - Thanks for updating your Review. Sorry that the first shipment was frozen in transit. We're careful when we ship and while it doesn't happen often, the cold weather can outsmart us. You had ordered the half-pound unit of Organic Seed Potatoes and we sent a half-pound (8 ounces) of high-quality, early-generation Organic Maine Certified Seed Potatoes, as described. Of course, as we have done for the last 35 years, we do guarantee your satisfaction on the seed we grow.
