Hi Vanessa, Just to confirm, my ceiling is in fact 2.4, and I am tallish hence why I opted for the low profile fan. Standing up with my arms spread apart, I can feel somewhat of a gentle breeze from the fan. However, this is in a bedroom where the occupant is generally lying down and the air flow just does not reach me unless I turn it right up to the last two speeds which make my blinds flap about. I actually thought that the fan must have been operating in reverse/winter mode due to the lack of airflow (however, I checked to confirm this was not the case). I find my small desk fan and pedestal fan to both be more effective. That said, I'm not convinced the poor air flow is necessarily a fault for a warranty issue but rather just a poor design. On the other hand, speed 4 seems to be the noisiest. The buzz like a mower in the distance is quite annoying. I don't know why it becomes audible at speed 4 but is less audible at speed 5 and 6.
