Dear David, We are amazed at your review of Cheviot, Your friend Lesley said you had a great time and made it to Reading but one of the party wasn't very well so you turned round before getting to the tidal Thames. The rear bunk is small which is why we advertise it as a small bunk and not a single bed. When you returned the boat we did find the missing stern rope wrapped very tightly round the prop shaft which would of made the engine labour producing extra fumes, the boat shake and make steering difficult.
