Thank you for taking the time to leave a detailed product review. The 200w mat cannot be used directly on timber however this can be used if there are insulation boards installed. The system would ideally be: the timber sub base floor, insulation boards, then the 200w matting. This is the best way to achieve 200w on a timber sub base floor. Hope this helps.
