We’ve carefully reviewed your case and can confirm that your original booking was made under a light fare, which is typically more affordable but also comes with significant restrictions when it comes to amendments. These fare types are governed by the airline’s own fare rules, and unfortunately, they impose a date change penalty, any applicable fare difference, and an administration fee to process such requests.
Please know that these charges are not set by TravelUp, and even if the booking had been made directly with the airline, the fees would have been the same under the same fare conditions. We fully appreciate how this can be upsetting, particularly when changes are needed due to personal or unforeseen events.
